I'm so glad to hear that! Really, the best part of baking for people is the excitement in their eyes when I hand it to them. It's one of the most genuine things one person can give another and I love it! Unfortunately, those reactions don't keep the lights on, which is why I finally decided to listen to those people when they said "You should sell these, everyone will buy them!" Any good baker will tell you that they started off with the recipes of others and evolved from there. And I'm no different! So let me point you to a place I love that I would always go to when doing Cake R&D, as we call it around here. https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/ is a great no-nonsense place to look around for new recipes. You can always jump to the recipe which is great if you know what you're looking for. You can use their recipes right as they are or tweak it to be caramel instead of chocolate, or whatever works for you.
